Nilja Hunter was a woman of purpose, passion, and profound impact whose life was dedicated to uplifting others. Her professional journey began with the City of Orlando and continued in youth advocacy, where she served as a Detention Officer at the Juvenile Detention Center. Driven by a deep heart for young people, Nilja went on to work as a Probation Officer and Youth Counselor for Orange County, becoming a trusted mentor and fierce advocate for teens.

Answering another calling, Nilja became a licensed esthetician and entrepreneur, founding i’Brow N’ Beauty, LLC. Through her artistry in skincare, brow design, and makeup, she built a respected brand across the Orlando community, known not only for excellence in beauty services but for the warmth and confidence she instilled in every client she served.

Alongside Destiny Anderson, Nilja proudly co-founded I See My Destiny, Inc., a nonprofit organization rooted in her deepest passion empowering youth. As Co-Founder & Program Director, Nilja poured her time, creativity, and love into creating opportunities for teens to grow in their potential.

 

Nilja possessed a rare gift: she didn’t just enhance beauty; she uplifted spirits. Her generosity, spirit, and unwavering commitment to service continue to leave a lasting imprint on the lives she touched. Her legacy is cherished by her beloved daughter, Addison K. Hunter, her husband Antonio Hunter, and a host of family and friends who hold her memory close.
